Directions: In the following, there are 20 questions. You’re asked to draw lots to choose one question from them to test your oral English ability. You’re asked to answer the questions, and your answer to each question must have 3-5 sentences. Your teacher will give you a score based on your performance. Questions:

11. How has the climate changed in recent years? Give some possible reasons for the change. 12. What mode of transportation do you prefer to travel, by plane, by train or other means? Why? 13. What do you and your parents usually prepare before the Spring Festival? What does the Spring

Festival mean to Chinese people?

14. Do you think it is necessary for the Chinese to celebrate Christmas? Why or why not?

No, I don’t think so for it is not necessary. But I don’t mean that we cannot celebrate these Western festivals. I don’t think it’s necessary to find a definite answer to whether we Chinese should celebrate the foreign festivals or not. We ought to respect others’ decision instead of interference in their choices. It’s not a bad thing for the people to take advantage of the western festivals, entertaining themselves, getting together and exchanging greetings.

But as we all know that we have a lot of traditional festivals are now forgotten by some people of our generation. They have lost their interest in our traditional festivals such as Tomb-sweeping day, Dragon-boat festival, Double Ninth Festival, etc. In general, the Chinese young men almost don’t know the profound implications of our traditional Chinese festivals. Instead they are familiar with the western festivals and go after them like a flock of ducks. Obviously, this is a situation that we do not want to see.

I think it is right to lay emphasis on our traditional festivals but it’s not proper to reject the foreign ones on this account. In fact, western festivals like Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, which have taken root in our country and becoming popular festivals among our people. They are a good time to express our gratitude to our relatives.

All in all, it’s natural for the Chinese people, especially our young people, to take part in the western festival activities, relaxing and relieving themselves. I think if you are interested in the celebration of the western festivals, just join it and enjoy yourself. If you are not interested in it, you can ignore them but don’t complain and make criticism.

2013—2014学年第一学期大学英语（三）口语考试方案及评分标准

（2012级普通本科班）

一、 试题设计 (Test Design)

关于海南师范大学2012级普通本科班学生第三学期大学英语口语考试， 现初步拟定采用以下设计方案：

1. 考试方式：面试

2. 考试内容：(题型；题目数量；约占时间)

本次口语考试为Questions形式，学生通过抽签选取其中一个话题作答。考试内容涉及20个日常口语话题（共20题）。

*注：以上考试回答内容中，句子的计数不包括问候和自我介绍。 3. 具体操作: (Test Procedures)

抽签选题作答，总共20个签，学生由抽签决定考试话题，并根据相应选题内容作答；选取试题后学生准备2分钟，答题时间不得超过3分钟。

二、 评分标准 (Assessment Criteria)

1．口语考试以百分制计分，满分为100分；该成绩占期末总评成绩10%。

2. 依据1) 语音、语调；2) 语言；3) 内容；4) 流利程度四项要求进行总体评分，每10分为 一个等级。

90至100分: 回答内容含9句到10句话或以上，语音语调标准，表达内容、语法和词汇准确，

表达中词汇丰富、语法结构较为复杂；能进行较长时间语言连贯、流利的发言；能自然、积极地进行交流，总体上与语境、功能和目的相适应。

80至89分: 回答内容含8-10句话或以上，语音语调较好，允许有个别发音错误；表达内容准

确，语法和词汇有个别错误，词汇较丰富，语法结构运用准确；语速适当，发言连贯，组织思维和词语时偶有停顿。

70至79分: 回答内容含7-10句话或以上，发音尚可，语法和词汇有一些错误但未影响交流和

理解，表达内容基本贴切；语言连贯性、流利性一般，但多数发言较简短，组织思想和搜寻词语时频繁出现停顿。

60至69分: 回答内容含6-10句话或以上，语法和词汇有较多错误，表达过程中词汇不丰富，语

法结构较简单；发音有缺陷，有时会影响交流；组织思想和搜寻词语时频繁出现较长时间的停顿，但能够基本完成交流任务。

60分以下: 回答内容少于6句话或6句话以上，语法和词汇有较多错误，以致妨碍理解，表达

过程中因缺乏词汇和语法结构而影响交际，发音较差，以致交际时常中断，发言简短且毫无连贯性，几乎无法进行交流或对话。
