Recently there is a trend that more and more parents want their children to study abroad. Since the study environment in some forign countries like America, Australia, England and Canada are better and students are more independent. In China, students are under pressure to take the college entry test and usually the students work super hard to get good grade. While students studying abroad have freedom to choose classes and have more time for other activities.
However, parents also worry about their children especially at a young age. Far away from the mother country, the hometown, students have to live without parents but depend on themselves like cooking. Also, English is the basic skill for the international students. Otherwith, students cannot understand the teachers during classes and it would be more difficult living.
So, the parents should consider both the advantages and disadvantages of studying abroad and carefully make decisions.
